  The Day

Out of Time

     2011

When: Every July 25!

The Day Out of Time is like the New Year's Day of the 13-Moon Calendar. 365 days in a year divided by 28 equals 13 Moons in a year - with one day left over: July 25, the Day Out of Time - a day that, according to the 13-Moon Calendar, is no day-of-the-week and does not fall within any moon (month). It is a day for suspending everything and gathering with friends, neighbors, and family to contemplate, celebrate, and express gratitude for life, the Earth, each other, and all that we have. That could mean suspending work... Take the day off, if you can! (Or some part of it.) Come celebrate with us!

BE THE PEACE YOU WANT TO SEE!

Austin, TX: Eighth Annual Day Out of Time Celebration and Squirrel Appreciation Day

Monday, July 25, 2011: Sunrise to Sunset

Pease Park (at the South End)

Ceremonies at 7:30am, 1:30pm and 7:30pm. Flyer.

Oneness Blessings directly after each ceremony. Attractions all day long. Find out about your Mayan Galactic Signature; get the Mayan glyph of your birth date painted on your forehead; learn about the Mayan calendar. There will be a small library of books regarding Mayan culture/calendrics, a walk-in pyramid, a three-foot-tall ceremonial quartz crystal, music, and who knows what else.

Come join us for as much of the day as you want. Admission and Oneness Blessing is free! (Donations accepted to the Planet Art Network.)

Directions: From Lamar Blvd., turn west on Enfield Rd. (15th Street) - Austin Java Company is on the corner there. Then take the first right, which is Parkway. Parkway (or, rather, that section of it) ends when you hit Kingsbury St., which parallels the park. There are picnic tables right there. Park along Kingsbury St.
